We are looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to support our customer’s engineering work, with a strong focus on the underlying infrastructure that is needed to get from source code to production, and keep it happy once it’s there. We need someone who understands software development, and enjoys working with developers on all the things necessary to improving, deploying, monitoring, and operating production services. The ideal candidate would have experience with AWS, and working with technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Service Meshes, but we’re also interested in people eager to learn them, if you’re an experienced engineer who has worked to solve comparable problems.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure on AWS and in Kubernetes.
- Develop effective tooling to accelerate onboarding of new services and build and release management.
- Build and implement monitoring and logging services.
- Work with application engineering to cultivate operational standards.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong experience with release pipelines, including blue/green deployments and multiple stages, in a > 100 node environment.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tooling including Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, VPC’s, DNS, and basic CI/CD practices.
- Experience with software development in a language like Python or Go along with knowledge of shell scripting.
- Build and release experience with tools such as Github Actions, Codefresh, or similar.
- Experience with application performance monitoring tools such as Datadog, or similar.
- Hands on experience building automated Linux infrastructure on cloud platform: AWS.
- Experience working with EKS or equivalent Kubernetes platforms and concepts.
Nice to have:
- Hands on experience building automated Linux infrastructure on cloud platforms: Google Cloud or Azure.
